Sarah Lombardi has close to fifteen years of experience working exclusively with and for non-profits in finance and accounting roles.  She spent several years at SmithBucklin, an association management company, assisting non-profit clients with all aspects of their accounting operations and serving as an “outsourced CFO” for several of those clients. Sarah has also held roles as the Controller at The Appraisal Institute, a non-profit association for real estate appraisers, and is the former VP of Finance at The Cradle, a non-profit adoption agency. Sarah is currently the Controller at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her day job, she is also the Program Committee Chair for the CFO Roundtable of Chicago, the Board Treasurer for The Theraplay Institute, and has her own business facilitating workshops and lectures centered around budgeting and financial literacy. Outside of her career, she has a passion for the performing arts, practices yoga daily, and enjoys golfing and traveling.
