Puerto Rican choreographer and dancer, OSCAR RAMOS, began his career with Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico. He has performed with Ballet Flanders, Batsheva Dance Company, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Gallim Dance, Hubbard Street 2, and Jacob Jonas The Company. Choreographic works include Solo One, premiered in Belgium, and Brinca, presented at the Festival Contempora 2024. Currently a member of Andanza Puerto Rico, Oscar created LUZ (2025) and Intersecciones (2026) for the company. Concert dance collaborators include Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui on Nomad and the film Cyrano. Commercially, he has worked with Dua Lipa, Manuel Turizo, and Rosalía. Oscar received the 2025 Outstanding Contemporary Choreographer award from Dance Open America. As a mover and maker, his work blends technical precision with cultural identity and emotional intensity.
