A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Katie Hynan came to Chicago to pursue her education at Loyola University Chicago, where she graduated with a BBA in Economics. Inspired by DanceWorks Chicago’s mission of supporting early career dancers and choreographers through training, mentorship, and collaboration, Katie joined the organization’s board in 2017.

As a Manager with Axiom Consulting Partners, Katie works with corporate and non-profit clients in the design and implementation of innovative, effective and sustainable people, and reward strategies that lead to improved organizational results. She offers expertise in the areas of human resources, strategy planning, and change management.

Katie is a designated Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a graduate of the Arts and Business Council of Chicago’s OnBOARD training program. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, staying active through running and cycling, traveling, and supporting the local arts scene in Chicago.
