Sara Bibik

From Manitowoc, WI, Sara began her dance education in Manitowoc at the Jean Wolfmeyer School of Dance and continued training at the National Academy of the Arts and Gus Giordano Dance Center. After graduation as Valedictorian at the National Academy of the Arts, she danced professionally with Esp Tap Company, Lynda Martha Dance Company, and Chicago Repertory Dance Ensemble before joining River North Dance Chicago (RNDC) as a Founding Dancer, dancing with the company for 10 years. Sara received a prestigious 1996 Ruth Page Award for a “Season of Outstanding Dancing”, and after retiring in 2000, she was named Workshop Director and Artistic Administrator.

Passionate about training, helping, and mentoring future generations of dancers, Sara has served as guest faculty for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, and the Virginia School of the Arts where she was honored to have been a commencement speaker. Sara currently teaches at Inspire School of Dance and the Irina Makkai Classical Ballet and Dance School.
