DanceForce (July 24-August 12)
A rigorous, comprehensive training program for dance students (15+), professional aspirants, and early career dancers. This program filled with challenging technique classes, artistic coaching, professional development seminars, and meaningful mentorship.
Technique classes include Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, and Improvisation. Dancers will also learn DanceWorks Chicago repertoire and perform in a showing at the Ruth Page Theater.
“Last summer I attended summer programs under the direction of Sara Bibik, which was a fantastic transition from college into the professional dance world. The intensive was more than just about taking dance class. Nutrition and cooking workshops, mock auditions, and plenty of seminars alongside the dancing equipped me with what I needed to become a professional dancer. Taking classes from the many different teachers, choreographers, and company directors helped broaden my network and led to me auditioning for and receiving a contract with DanceWorks Chicago.” – David Gourov
