Friday, April 11: ONE DAY ONLY Master Class with Bruce Wood Dance Dallas
Join artists of Bruce Wood Dance Dallas for an immersive master class exploring Bruce Wood’s signature phrase work, including his iconic shapes, textures, and choreographic principles of groundedness, musicality, and community. Participants will also learn sections of repertoire by choreographers Joy Bollinger, Lar Lubovitch, and Bruce Wood. Come back in the evening to the dancers with DanceWorks Chicago in DanceFlight at 7pm!
- For interested dancers, this class can serve as an opportunity to audition for WOOD|WORKS, BWDD’s summer intensive programs.
This special offering will be held ON STAGE in our home at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 North Dearborn, between Maple and Oak. The RPC is accessible by public transportation: Brown Line (Chicago station), Red Line (Chicago or Clark/Division station), bus lines #22, 36, 70. Street parking is available.

- CLASS TIME: 9:30am-11:30am
BONUS: Participation in the Bruce Wood Dance Dallas master class may also be used to audition for Dance360 Summer 2025 programming for the same $17 class fee!
