Khuoh-tsuh is a collaborative exploration of the struggle, yet genuine attempt to communicate with those different from us by highlighting the joys and limitations of language. 

Khuoh-tsuh was commissioned as part of New Music / New Dance, a collaborative residency between the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition at the University of Chicago and DanceWorks Chicago, made possible thanks to the generous support of Gay Stanek.

Khuoh-tsuh premiered at the Logan Center Performance Penthouse in Chicago, IL, in a one-night-only performance on March 24, 2023.
