SAYIGA EUGENE PEABODY, from Stevensville, MI, began dancing at age 13, training in jazz with Nancy Myers Gitlin, ballet with Rhoda Rabbers, and modern with Theresa Graziano. A recipient of the Giordano Merit Scholarship, he was a member of Giordano II and Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. Eugene has also performed with LaJAZ DANZ, Black Box Dance Theatre, and in Dance for Life. Eugene joined DanceWorks Chicago in May 2008 and joined Luna Negra Dance Theater in January 2010.
