Addio Amore was commissioned by the Western Michigan University Department of Dance and was created during two October 2011 residencies at Western Michigan University.  Addio Amore is in the repertoires of DanceWorks Chicago and Western Michigan University and was created so the two groups could perform the dance separately and together.
