ANGELA DICE, from Somerset, PA, began dancing at Laurel Arts Dance Center and later studied at Rockingham Ballet Theatre. Angela graduated summa cum laude from Point Park University, where she earned her BFA in Dance and was a recipient of a Rising Star Scholarship. She performed for two seasons as a founding company member of August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble and more recently with Dayton Arts Project. Angela has danced works by Kyle Abraham, Robert Battle, Doug Bentz, Antonio Brown, Agnes de Mille, Daniel Ezralow, Martha Graham, Bill T. Jones, Kiesha Lalama, Darrell Grand Moultrie, David Parsons, and Kate Skarpetowska, among other favorites. She also has been privileged to work with artists Jason McDole and Cheryl Mann. Her film credits include Sorority Row, and she has performed in regional productions of 42nd Street and The Pajama Game at Mountain Playhouse. Angela joined DanceWorks Chicago in September 2011. |
