Created for and premiered by DanceWorks Chicago at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts in Chicago on March 23, 2010.

DanceWorks Chicago was the first international organization outside the UK to participate in the R Platform. The Chicago R Platform Project made in collaboration with and under the guidance of Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, courtesy of The Dance Center of Columbia College.

R Platform is a remote location dance project that utilizes the methodologies of Wayne McGregor to unlock the creative potential of participants. Groups work with a DVD resource that includes warm ups and creative tasks. The groups then work with a company dancer from Wayne McGregor | Random Dance to bring all the created material together and craft it into an original, short dance piece.
